Rise and dip again with 9185 9210 resistance | 9125 9090 support | 0.3% GDP

Technical analysis for FTSE 100 for 14th August 2025

The 9125 to 9185 range is firmly in play this week as we have the typical August slow moving chop. The bulls probably have the edge at the moment though and we may well see a rise and dip again today, with it still looking like any break of the 9180 level will manage 9205. As such a short here is worth a go if seen, as we also have 9210 for R2 and the key fib.
