Dip and rise with 9175 now becoming support | 9238 9266 resistance | 9130 support below

Technical analysis for FTSE 100 for 15th August 2025

The bulls have finally managed to push past the 9185 level and out of hours, also the 9205. As such that means the next key level they will be aiming for is 9300. The lower volume but still optimistic August is playing out with the sedate drift up and it still remains a buy the dip market. Initial resistance though is at the 9238 R1 level and we may well see a drop off from this to start with, down to the support at 9186 daily pivot, and also a back test of the previous resistance area now becoming support.
