Technical analysis for 5th December 2025

FTSE100 Bias

  • Primary Bias
    • Bullish continuation, but price is pressing into the R1–R2 resistance band.
  • Why
    • Daily trend: Higher highs / higher lows
    • Price above rising 10 & 25 EMAs
      • 30-min structure: Higher lows, bullish consolidation
  • RSI mid-to-high 50s → positive momentum, not overbought
    • Holding above pivot (~9,722)
  • Key Decision Levels
    • Bullish continuation above: 9,732
    • Upside targets: 9,748 → 9,755 → 9,783
    • Buy-the-dip support: 9,700 → 9,690
    • Bias flips bearish only below: 9,678
  • FTSE Trade Behaviour Today
    • Buy dips
    • Breakout longs
    • Shorts only on clear rejection at 9,750–9,755
