Technical analysis for 27th January 2026

The bulls are hanging in there after a bull Monday yesterday and a sizeable rise on the S&P500 as well. The first main resistance level is 10196 that the bulls will need to break but we may well see a rise and dip today as a bear Tuesday kicks in later. We have tech companies starting to release earnings tomorrow too. Last weeks high was also 10227 above the round number, and if the bulls can break that then a rise towards the 10283 is likely.
