As we await the BoE and Fed 9620 9582 support | 9675 9703 resistance

Technical analysis for 9th December 2025

FTSE100 Bias

  • TODAY'S BIAS: BEARISH (INTRADAY) / SLIGHT BEARISH (DAILY)
  • Why
    • Price is below the Daily Pivot (9,660).
    • Below all intraday EMAs (10/25/200) → clear short-term downtrend.
    • Daily chart rolling over from rising channel top.
    • Momentum weakening (RSI ~45).
    • Lower-highs and lower-lows forming on 30-min.
  • Bias Rules
    • Bearish while below: 9,660
    • Very bearish below: 9,620 (S1)
    • Only bullish above: 9,676 (R1 reclaim)
  • Expected Behaviour
    • Sell rallies toward 9,660–9,676
    • Breakdown continuation if 9,620 fails
    • Buy interest only lower at 9,594–9,566
